Is your Master Bedroom restful? It’s important to have a quiet place to de-stress and unplug at the end of the day, especially these days in our fast paced, high tech world. I’ve been putting together some bedroom designs for a friend of mine who has an Interior Design business. She has recently brought me on board to help out with her overflow of work.
In the design boards for the clients, I wanted to create a Serene Master Bedroom space for the couple. The existing paint color on the walls is Waynesboro Taupe from Benjamin Moore. I chose blue as my main color to compliment the Taupe on the walls.
I started with this beautiful Harbor House Belcourt Bedding set from Wayfair. It comes with the comforter, shams and the bedskirt. The blue paisley design can be either masculine or feminine, perfect for this couple. It also has hints of of the taupe color similar to the walls.
Lastly, I added blue, light-blocking curtains panels and a neutral patterned rug, that blends nicely with the wall color. Even though this was my favorite design board that I sent to the couple, they ending up going with one of my other designs for the bedroom. As it turns out, blue is not their favorite color, they lean more towards browns and reds. This bedding set also comes in shades of red, so the couple ending up using it in their guest bedroom. I’ll be sharing the full reveal here once the project is complete so be on the look out for that!
