Simple Christmas Decorating Ideas
Is anyone else excited that the holiday season is officially in full swing? I love the season, with the exception of crazy mall shopping. I try to do most of my shopping online to avoid the crowds, and spend more time creating a warm and inviting home instead.
I prefer simple decorating ideas in general, but especially at Christmas. I like to use fresh greenery where ever I can, and accent that with a few seasonal decorations. So today, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite Christmas decorating ideas that fall under that category. These are all easy and inexpensive ideas that anyone can recreate using easy to find items like fresh greens, candles and some other items that you probably have around the house.
Keep it simple and neutral with white candles and mini trees.
I love this farmhouse Christmas decor (no surprise there!) with the rustic basket and distressed terra-cotta pots.
Why not wrap your doors with ribbon for a festive display?
You probably have all of the items shown below already on hand to recreate this pretty Christmas tray.
This stunning window display makes great use of fresh garland and a wreath.
Sometimes less is more, keep it simple like shown in this next photo.
This beautiful mantel filled with logs and a gallery of wreaths is stunning! Even if you don’t have a fireplace, you can borrow the wreath idea.
You don’t have to go crazy decorating, it doesn’t get any easier than this next photo.
Always in style, mason jars create a festive table setting.
Another tabletop decor idea; use ribbon, twine and garland in shades of red or cranberry for a pretty Christmas setting.
Simple and cute, use a grapevine wreath for the ‘O’ and spell out NOEL or Joy.
I always add a mini tree to my front porch, but the Christmas front porch shown below is so beyond adorable!
