St. Patrick’s Day Home Tour

St. Patrick's Day Mantel

Raise your hand if you love St. Patrick’s Day! I’m sharing my St. Patrick’s Day home tour today with some blogging friend, as you will see at the bottom of this page. I love St. Patrick’s Day, I am about 1/2 Irish so I really enjoy celebrating it! Grab a green beer & sit back because there is a lot to see! We will start the tour at this french door that leads from my kitchen to my family room, shown above.

I added the majority of my St. Patrick’s Day decor around the fireplace. I found that bunting at AC Moore for only $1.00! I replaced the blue mason jars that are usually on the mantel with these cute green mason jars*. I planted paperwhites in the terra-cotta pot shown about 4 or 5 weeks ago but they never sprouted.

I also added some new plants to the bar cart to liven it up for Spring. You may remember that air plant from my DIY shelves, I loved it so much I had to go back and get myself one.

For over a year  I have been searching for a green Oxalis plant, shown below on my sideboard. My local nursery sells them in purple and every year I buy 2-one for my porch and one for my mother’s porch. I was so excited when I walked into Wegman’s last week and found a whole display of them! I bought two and ran one right over to my mom’s house.

I switched out my silver and white Christmas pillows for more Spring-like pillows in green and blue. These are really outdoor pillows. I used them for a little porch update last year but I decided they were too pretty to be left outside.

St. Patricks Day Decorating

The metal flower tray on my coffee table was found at an interior design store. My friend said she has seen those same trays at Home Goods also.

Green decor in the living room

My flea market window vignette is getting a workout lately. I love switching up this little space often.
