8 Blogger’s Bedrooms
Last week I mentioned that I attended my first ever conference for DIY/Home Decor bloggers. One thing that I was reminded of is that these women are such a creative bunch. It was motivating and inspiring to say the least. I love my little corner of the internet here and sharing simple ways to make your home more inspiring to you while on a budget. While I’m working a few DIY’s this week of my own, I have rounded up some amazing bedroom transformations done by bloggers.
Polished Habitat knocked it out of the park with this bedroom makeover done as part of the One Room Challenge. The feature wall is amazing, but you really need to stop by and see all of the details in this room. You’re sure to pick up some fun decorating ideas for yourself.
Cuckoo for Design incorporates texture beautifully with just enough patterns to keep it interesting without overwhelming. This room is a great example of keeping the bigger elements neutral and switching out accessories for a refresh or seasonally.
Life on Virginia Street transformed a previously beige bedroom into a light and bright oasis. I am in love with these perfectly styled rustic shelves and that striped wall!
Making It in the Mountains always gets its right with her farmhouse style designs. This bedroom makeover has the most beautiful feature wall, and the details throughout the room are perfection.
Made by Carli does blue and white the right way. She varied the patterns but kept the hue the same throughout. (For more tips on mixing patterns, see this post). The first thing that caught my eye here was the amazing throw blanket on the bed…only it’s not a throw blanket at all. Visit her post to see what it is and where she got it (it was only $3.99!).
Table and Hearth made over this bedroom as part of the One Room Challenge also. The uncluttered feel and use of neutrals really looks great. It’s like a breath of coastal fresh air.
Lehman Lane has done several amazing bedroom makeovers (check out her son’s room) and this one is no exception. Lots of DIY custom details here, including his and hers closets on either side of the fireplace.
Love Your Abode shared this pretty bedroom makeover which I would describe as simple elegance.
Thanks for following along with this little blog of mine. I love your comments and read every single one. If there is anything you’d like to see more of around here leave a comment and let me know!
What gorgeous rooms & projects! I can only imagine what a great time you had at the Haven Conference-I definitely wanted to go next year! My favorite is the Cuckoo for Design bedroom, I love the navy paired with neutrals. I can’t wait to see your next project!
All are very nice. I love the clean lines and neutral colors. It’s hard to choose, but I think my favorite the Polished Habitat. Looking forward to your next DIY project.
