11 Rooms With Vintage Charm
One thing I really love is when a room exudes vintage charm and character without any architectural details. Not everyone is fortunate enough to live in a house with such details. However, that is not an easy look to pull off in a plain room.
Most of the inspirational rooms here today do not have anything exceptional as far as original details. But somehow they all manage to pull off that old world look beautifully.
VIntage Kitchens
I was searching through my saved Instagram pictures recently and realized I have the kitchen above saved at least five times. It’s one of my all-time favorites. The design appears simple but it’s so thoughtfully done. It does appear to have the benefit of very tall ceilings going for it.
This kitchen is a bit of a mishmash of pieces but it works! Just like some of the first indoor kitchens had separate storage pieces rather than long rows of uniform cabinets. So charming.
Antique Living Room Ideas
The living room above is a great example of vintage in the living room. The imperfect couch with the antique wall art is so cozy and inviting.
If you know me at all, you know I love a good vintage mirror. I sort of have a problem with not being able to pass one up. My husband told me after I brought one home recently that he’s starting to feel like he lives in the Matrix, lol. My point is, look at how that mirror adds so much charm to the living room!
The console table styling here with the clustered gallery wall is styling perfection. The dark color walls really let the art and decor really stand out.
Vintage Style Bathrooms
I just love this bathroom above. The tub is unique and gorgeous and the old shelf just fits perfectly with the rest of the elements.
Lastly, the rough wood vanity, artwork, and flooring above give a pretty vintage vibe even with the very modern style toilet.
