Decorating trends come and go.
One trend that always seems to stand the test of time is rooms painted white. Some people are turned off by the thought of white rooms because they feel too sterile. This is not the case if you add the right mix of elements into the room. By doing that, white just creates a perfect, neutral backdrop for your decor style.
My favorite design style is obviously farmhouse, cottage, shabby chic or country style. The name changes, but this trend has been around forever. I love rustic wood elements added into white rooms. This counteracts the feeling of it being sterile, and helps warm the room up while adding in texture. Here are 10 of my favorite white rustic rooms.

Blue and white are both cool colors but this room still feels warm thanks to the wood beams and brick fireplace.
