Bohemian Girls Room

April 28, 2014

Recently, a friend of mine moved into a new home. We were discussing how she plans to decorate her daughter’s new room. She is going with a bit of a bohemian vibe. I’ve always loved that look as well so I thought I’d put some fun inspirational boards together.

Yes, I used two bedding sets on this board. I love them both and couldn’t decide. This could also work for a shared room. They are both from Bloomingdales. My favorite part of this room is the curtains, from Anthropologie.  They are unbelievably expensive but I think they make the room. Recreating those would be an easy DIY project. The jute teal rug is from Pier1, what a great alternative to the natural jute. The lampshade is also from Anthropologie. The lamp base is from World Market, as are the rattan string lights.  Floral chair from Target. Hampshire Rocks paint from Benjamin Moore is the background color. It is a muted lavender.

How pretty is this bedding from Target? The ruffled curtains are from Urban Outfitters. Silver Lake gray paint color from Benjamin Moore. All other items shown are from World Market.

We do not yet have a World Market store in NJ, I got to visit one last year while visiting family in Alabama. I’m hoping they expand up north soon!

I am thinking of making this a regular feature on the blog. Is there a certain room you would like to see featured next? Do you have a certain budget or maybe a specific paint color you’d like me to work with? Leave a comment and let me know.
