Simple Mantel with White Pumpkins
It’s official. I have decorating ADD. I’ve already switched my fall mantel decorations out since sharing my fall home tour a couple of weeks ago. After finally getting my hands on some mini white pumpkins I decided to change it up. The white pumpkins are all I really wanted to use this year.
Using seasonal items from nature is a good idea on many levels. No holiday decorations to store away, it’s usually inexpensive, and it adds a natural element to your decor.
They look better than store bought decorations, don’t you think?
They pair so well with my vintage mantel and fabric covered books.
This year we found a pumpkin vine growing in our yard from a pumpkin we left in our compost pile last year. We got one giant pumpkin from it, coming in at around 18 lbs. After these pumpkins start to fade, I’m going to toss them into that pile and hope it grows into some mini white pumpkins for next year!
My regular posting schedule may be a little off this week because I was traveling last week. I went to Minnesota for a fun design challenge, which you may have seen on Instagram. I’ll share all the details about that soon!
Thanks so much for sharing this with me at Blogtalk 2.0. I will be sharing this tomorrow on Celebrate & Decorate.
Thank you, Chloe!
