Five for Friday #32

Happy Friday! Today’s Five for Friday picks are all amazing before and after room makeovers. They are inspired by the kickoff of the One Room Challenge craze. I’m only in the beginning stages of my ORC kitchen makeover, so I am using these beautiful rooms as inspiration myself.

1.  I am in love with this Farmhouse Bathroom Makeover, shown above from Prodigal Pieces.   That vanity and mirror! Would you believe that vanity was a dresser found on Craigslist? Every detail is right on point here.

 

2.  I love the after photo of this boys room from Bright Green Decor. Can we talk about how horrible that before is? Those window treatments are exactly what not to do with your windows! Look how much larger and brighter the room looks in the after. Great job!

 

3.  I have definitely been stalking all kitchen inspiration photos, including this Kitchen Makeover from the Tale of an Ugly House. Don’t be afraid to paint your dark cabinets –  or your counters! What a difference a little paint can make!

 

4.  Another amazing room flip is this Farmhouse Bedroom Makeover from Making it in the Mountains.  I love every detail from the ruffled bedding to the vintage doorknobs. Actually, I’m obsessed with the vintage door knobs!

 

5.  Last but definitely  not least is this gorgeous kitchen transformation from Lemon Thistle. This after photo is somewhat similar to the look I’m going for in my kitchen. I was surprised to read that those pretty countertops are actually laminate!
