Hash Brown Quiche

Easy Quiche recipe with hash brown crust, perfect for brunch!

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cup shredded hash browns
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup white onion chopped
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • nutmeg pinch
  • 1/4 cup fresh baby spinach shredded
  • bacon crumbled, optional

Method
 

  1. Press shredded hash browns into a well-greased pie dish.
  2. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes.
  3. While cooking the hash browns, beat the eggs, heavy cream and nutmeg together in a mixing bowl.
  4. Remove from oven. Add a layer of the shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Add a layer of chopped onions.
  6. Add a layer of baby spinach.
  7. Pour in the egg mixture.
  8. Bake at 325 degrees for 50-55 minutes.
  9. Top with crumbled bacon bits in the last 5-10 minutes of baking, if desired.
