This last minute Halloween decoration is easy to make. You will need assorted glass bottles and taper candles in dark colors.
Paint the bottles to the same color as your candles. Try to match as closely as possible, I had to mix a few colors to match my gray candles.
When dry, place candles into bottles. If the neck is a little too big, add foil to the bottom of the candle to make it fit flush.
Burn the candles to get the drippings down onto the side of the bottles. This gives it a more spooky effect.
To get a maximum drip effect, hold a grill lighter to the top and sides of the candles. It also speeds up the process.
Isn't that cool? The bottles are pretty for a display or as a centerpiece.
