with dried flowers

Fall Wreath

To make this easy DIY wreath, gather dried flowers, a wreath form and floral wire (or clear fishing line).

We started with snippets of dried wheat grass and attached them to our hoop using clear fishing line, which is virtually invisible..

Next, we added dried yarrow on top of the wheat grass.  Keep in mind, working with dried flowers does get messy!

Continue adding your florals until you reach your desired fullness. Notice how you cannot see the fishing line at all.

We finished ours off by knotting a long satin ribbon to the side for interest.  We tied another ribbon to the top for hanging.

This year, we changed the ribbon to gold for more of a fall feel and added fishing line as the hanger so that it's invisible.  This wreath is easy to customize to your liking!
