Dried gourds are great for Fall decorating, but we took them up a notch to use for Halloween decorating with this easy DIY idea!
For our ghost gourds, we found this shape is best. You want a smaller top and wider bottom for best results.
If you're not artist, not to worry. We have free downloadable templates for you to use for this cute project!
Using a pencil, we traced a ghost face onto the top half of the gourd, Then we filled it in with black paint.
For the lower half, we traced a circle and then filled it in with tan pant to mimic the color of the moon.
We then traced and painted in a witch over the moon. We did different versions of this, with the bottom of some as a pumpkin face.
We had gourds of other shapes that we made into other Halloween characters too! See them all via the link below!
