How to Grow   Climbing  Hydrangeas

Green Curved Line

Climbing hydrangea vines are a low-maintenance plant that can add such beauty to your garden!

They are a slow-growing vine that is not invasive to other areas when planted.

The flowers are star shaped unlike regular hydrangeas. They bloom in early spring and last only a few weeks.

Our climbing hydrangea vine is not evergreen but provide beautiful vertical interest.  We have three planted on our property now.

They make a wonderful privacy screen when grown on a trellis as we did here on our front porch.

We added an inexpensive vintage mirror on the trellis and let the vine grow around it.  It's an unexpected accent and so pretty!

In summary, hydrangea vines are low maintenance, easy to grow and non invasive!  We highly recommend!
