We love decorating with a mix of vintage & new, even for the holidays.  Here is how we mixed old & new in our dining nook.

We started with these vintage pink mercury glass ornaments.  We placed one on each dinner plate.

Would you believe the beautiful pink stemmed glasses were found at a flea market?

The crock used for our centerpiece was also a secondhand find.  We placed a large amarylis bulb in the center and tucked in fresh greens all around.

Newer items include the dishes, linen napkins and the simple wreath hung on the window.

The dining hutch got a similar treatment with a mix of vintage & new, and a bit of holiday decor and greenery sprinkled in.

This dining nook setting is about the simple things.  A sprig of fresh greenery in each glass is a pretty touch.
