To begin, start in one corner and work your way out from there. We started in a closet to get the hang of it. You'll need to add spacers between the wall & your first row.
The floors snap together with a built-in tongue and groove. Be sure to stagger the seams as you go so they don't line up exactly.
After you snap them in place, use a tapping block and a hammer to be sure they are locked in.

For cutting around awkward areas, like floor vents, we found using a small jigsaw was the easiest way.
