Melt & Pour Soap Base Dried Lavender Bee Pollen Lavender Essential Oil Soap Molds

Step 1

Cut your soap base into 1-inch cubes.  Place in a microwave-safe dish and microwave for 15-second intervals until melted.

Step 2

When your base is melted, stir in several drops of essential oil.  We used lavender essential oil for this soap recipe.

Step 3

Pour the mix into your molds, only filling halfway up.  We added dried lavender and bee pollen on top of that.  Let sit for 20 minutes to harden.

Step 4

Repeat the process to fill in your molds to the top.  Use a toothpick to rearrange the lavender bits and to pop any air bubbles.

Step 5

Let the soap set completely, about 2 hours, before removing from the molds.

To Note:

Bee pollen contains amino acids and vitamins that protect the skin and reduce inflammation.  We sourced ours from a local farm.
