Get The Look: Pretty Living Room

A few weeks ago I shared this pretty living room photo on my Facebook page. It got such a response that I thought it would be fun to do a “get this look” post about it.

This room is design by Lee Owens, and you can find him on Instagram if you’d like to see more of his work.

So let’s break down our inspiration room and see how we can recreate the look ourselves. First up is that incredible mirror.

The exact mirror shown behind the sofa can be found here*. It’s not cheap, but it is gorgeous.

There’s just something about a blue sofa that I love. I’ve been trying to talk my mother into buying something similar for her living room. Blue is an easy color to live with.

As for the sofa in the photo, it was custom made. I did some searching and found similar versions. The sofa below is shown in the color “spruce” which isn’t an exact match but it is a pretty blue/green. The swatch shown in the photo is another option called “french blue”.

I also found these two similar sofas which are both shown in the color “washed teal”. The top left sofa is priced the same as the sofa shown on the bottom left side.

This tonal striped area rug would be a beautiful neutral backdrop in any living room.

The white side table looks like a Parsons style to me. I found two comparable options for that as well. The table on the left is far more expensive than the one shown on the right which is only $10!

I found this similar blue vase to the one shown on the lower shelf of the side table. I love the IKAT pattern on it.

This insanely beautiful bone inlay tray mimics the one shown on the coffee table.

You can never go wrong with an all-white table lamp.

A simple mix and match pillow trio is just right on the couch. The larger floral pattern goes nicely with the smaller block print on the center pillow. A plain white pillow balances them out.

A coffee table in a classic shape anchors the seating area.

Of course, that beautiful picture frame molding on the walls doesn’t hurt either. What is your favorite element in this room?
