Five for Friday Design Picks

Happy New Year you guys! There hasn’t been much DIY happening around here with the holidays but I thought I’d check in to let you know I’m still here. Though I may need a 12-step program to get off sugar after all the holiday sweets that I indulged in!

While I’m working on some new projects and behind the scenes blog things, I thought I’d start the year off with a round of weekly design picks. I really can’t shut my design brain off so I’m always on the hunt for inspiration.

This living room seriously stopped me in my tracks. Designed by Joanna Gaines, this one is a stunner!

Speaking of stunning, here’s yet another amazing space from LeAnne Ford. All hail the queen!

I am liking this trend of darker kitchen cabinets with no upper cabinets at all. Though I don’t know how practical it is to not have uppers, it really looks pretty.

Floor to ceiling bookshelves gets me every time. One day I’ll have this in my own house.

For some reason lately, I’ve been drawn to warmer color palettes. This painted black brick wall is so beautiful!
