Spring Mantel Decorating Ideas

Spring decorating ideas mantel decor

As I’m posting this today, we are getting pounded with snow here in NJ. Last week we had temperatures in the 70’s, today arctic blizzard. March is crazy! As we patiently wait for the warmer temps to stick around for good, let’s talk spring decorating. Today I’m sharing my spring mantel along with some of my blogging friends (see below), ย I really love how it turned out this year. When I started thinking about decorating the mantel for Spring, I realized that I really didn’t have any Easter decorations at all.

That gave me an excuse to head over to Home Goods to see what they had in the way of Easter decor. I found this adorable moss bunny there. I also picked up a few wooden speckled eggs. Other than those two purchases, I used only what I had around the house. The tall vase next to the bunny was found at an antique store awhile back for only $1. It was rusty (not in the good way) so I gave it a quick coat of spray paint.

My daughter walked in while I was taking the photos of my spring mantel, ย and she was a little confused by the banner on the TV. I always feel like the TV looks like a big black vortex in the middle of my decorations, so I added that little banner for the pictures.

I used my fabric covered books on one side. I need to make more of those because they are so versatile, I use them everywhere.

The speckled eggs are in my rustic flowerpots. The large banner underneath was a DIY project that I made with my Cricut machine. A few tall branches and some baby’s breath made it really feel spring-like.
